Families: About
D85_8729.jpg

When I moved to the UK, I worked in a Montessori school where I got my qualifications. Working in such a beautiful environment for the children, where there's order and very little clutter, opened my eyes on how important it was to have the right things at the right place and at the right time for their development. I first worked with children aged between 3 and 7, but was then given the task to open a nursery for younger children. This once again, has changed my views on how a home setting can change the upbringing of a child and how much benefit a child can gain from it.

I have since then been passionate about setting up homes for babies, toddlers and children to allow them succeed and foster independence.

Sometimes, it is about having the right hook at the right place at the entrance for them to get ready for school. Other times, it is about setting up the bathroom successfully for them to start potty training. It may be about changing the layout of the living room to create a tasteful baby space, where you can watch your child while you live your everyday life. Most of the time, it is about simply adding small details around the house to make your children's life easier, where they feel they succeed, and that, will on the longer term have a positive impact on your life too.

However, I have also witnessed a lot of families that are stuck in a layout that doesn't work for everyone. I worked on a very interesting project where the family felt they never got to spend time together and that everyone was in different rooms. But this was quickly fixed as the problem was more about the flow of the home and the purpose of each room. I reconfigured  the whole ground floor of the house, taking into account everyone's need and I created a shopping list for the missing elements.

I would love to help you create a harmonious home with your children and help your little ones be part of the family routine by creating the right options for them. Please be in contact with me for any enquiries or questions.
